Experience: Ankur works as a consultant with Tholons Inc. He has extensive experience across operations, internal corporate strategy and consulting. This diversified experience has provided him a well rounded and in-depth understanding of the global outsourcing industry.
Ankur’s area of expertise lies in assisting Private Equity firms in the development of Investment themes, due diligence activities and driving value creation for the Portfolio companies. He has the experience of working with 20+ Portfolio companies in multiple industries and domains on their globalization strategy encompassing offshoring initiatives and revenue generation opportunities through global expansion. Ankur also works with the Investment teams of the PE firms to identify services globalization driven high growth sectors for investments and subsequently support that with deal sourcing and due diligence activities.
Ankur has also worked on the growth and expansion strategies for large service providers on emerging global outsourcing areas and specializes in the area of engineering services offshoring. He has also advised captive operations of large corporate on transformation strategies to drive cost and operational efficiencies.
In his past experience, Ankur worked with Cognizant Technology Solutions in an operations role with the Healthcare practices. Subsequently, he joined Atos Origin to take up a role in the internal corporate strategy group where he was involved in Capacity planning, pipeline management, growth and expansion strategies and new business generation.
Education: Ankur obtained an MBA from IIM – Lucknow (Majors in Finance and IT) and a Bachelors of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from VTU, Karnataka. |
