Ruwanthi is the country representative with Tholons Sri Lanka. She brings in more than 13 years of work experience to Tholons. Her work exposure in the field of finance spans across corporate banking, venture capital and equity research and all aspects of outsourcing/offshoring operations.
Prior to Tholons, she held senior management positions with a leading service provider of investment research services to the global capital markets industry. She was involved in creating, managing, developing and expanding a client team which was located in many cities across the globe. She has also worked for a federal government audit service provider in USA dealing with state government audits relating to government welfare grants. Her experience in these areas has allowed her to gain commendable expertise in the outsourcing sector especially in building, sourcing, developing, and managing such firms.
Additionally, she has many years of experience in the banking and venture capital industry, where she was responsible for evaluating and assessing the risk of investments. She also evaluated factors impacting return and performance for the various investments and ensured close monitoring for successful implementation of these investments. She was also responsible for post-implementation reviews and developing corrective action plans for the same as well as implementation of exit strategies.
Ruwanthi obtained a MBA from the University of New Haven, Connecticut, USA and is a finalist of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK. |
