Vipul has Investment Banking experience across geographies and industries like Media & Technology, Financial Institutions, Consumer & Healthcare, etc. At Tholons Capital, he contributes to both M&A engagements and to Investment practices. His expertise spans valuation and financial modeling. He also actively works on developing IP that make our processes more efficient. He has developed proprietary valuation models for valuing both public and private companies. He works end-to-end on deals from sourcing to closure, focusing on valuation and deal structuring.
Prior to joining Tholons Capital, he worked with Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division. He was involved in the $45bn LBO of the utilities giant in the US. At Goldman Sachs, his focus was on the Natural Resources and the Financial Services sectors in the US and Europe. He is an entrepreneur and a member of FKCCI (Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry). He is a black belt and a coach in Karate. He is also a Guest Faculty at a few Management Institutes.
He is an MBA (Finance & Marketing) from IMI (International Management Institute), Europe and a PGDPM holder from IIPM (The Indian Institute of Planning & Management), Bangalore. He also holds a B.Sc. from Bangalore University. |
