Mini Suri is a trailblazing entrepreneur who has shattered the glass ceiling in the male-dominated fields of technology and healthcare. She was responsible for leading some of the most cutting-edge technology initiatives at the company, including developing a conversational AI bank. But Mini's ambitions didn't stop there. She went on to head up AI and automation at Uber, one of the world's most innovative and forward-thinking companies. 

 

Despite her success in the financial services and transportation industries, Mini's true passion lay in healthcare. "Healthcare was something that was always my passion. However, I did not know my path," she said. Still, she made the bold decision to leave Uber and start her own healthcare AI company, Velmeni, which specialises in dental AI. 

 

Today, Mini is the co-founder and CEO of Velmeni, a health tech AI company pioneering new approaches to dental care and larger healthcare systems. Mini's journey to becoming a successful entrepreneur was not easy. She faced numerous obstacles, including navigating the complex healthcare industry and breaking into the male-dominated tech sector. 

 

She sees her work at Velmeni as the culmination of a journey that began many years ago when she first discovered her passion for healthcare. “Now post-covid with where we are with telehealth and teledentistry, I think we can make a significant impact, and I can see it.” 

And her perseverance and grit have paid off. Today, Velmeni is paving the way for the future of healthcare, and Mini is recognised as a leader and innovator in the industry. 

 

Mini's success can be attributed to her character traits as well. She is an incredibly passionate and driven individual committed to excellence in everything she does. She is also a team player who is always willing to collaborate and learn from others. “I believe we can make a difference when we walk together, and I don't think we can work or solve problems if we work in silos.” She says.
